Last week the Simon Street Jazz Quartet got together for a Fundraising Gig at New North Road Baptist Church in Huddersfield.
All proceeds raised on the evening are going towards the Kosova Mission Team from New North Road Baptist Church who are going to work with Smile International in Kosova this Summer.
The quartet played a mixture of Traditional Jazz, including 'All of Me' written by Gerald Marks and Seymour Simons, and other tunes including 'Ain't no sunshine' written by Bill Withers.
The line up of the band for the evening was Vocals, Flute, Clarinet, Altos and Tenor Saxophones, Bass and Drums.
It was great fun playing with the group and a pleasure to see some of my Students and Friends in the audience.
We had a wonderful night and really enjoyed the variety of Cocktails made by the Kosova Team.
Thank you to the Kosova team and for all who supported us.
We plan to do another Fundraising gig in April, it would be great to see you there :-)
